Pedro Winter Named Global Head of Creation, Co-MD at Because Music France

Pedro Winter has been appointed Global Head of Creation and Co-Managing Director of Because Music France.

The role:

• As Co-Managing Director, the Paris-based Winter will oversee all front-office activities at the company.

• He will have local responsibility for marketing, catalog, promotion, A&R, visual, digital, commercial, D2C, sync, merchandising and brands.

• In addition, he will serve as Global Head of Creation, supervising audiovisual and sonic creative output worldwide.

Backstory:

• Winter founded Ed Banger Records in 2003, working with artists such as Justice, DJ Mehdi, SebastiAn, Uffie, Mr. Oizo, and Myd.

• Ed Banger began collaborating with Because Music in 2005.

• Winter managed Daft Punk between 1996 and 2008, and has performed globally as a DJ named Busy P.
