Universal Music Publishing Group has appointed Sunita Kaur as President, Asia, based in Singapore. She brings a strong background, she will oversee UMPG's regional operations and songwriter development across the continent. The appointment follows the departure of longtime Asia Pacific President Andrew Jenkins after nearly two decades at the company.

Pedro Winter, founder of Ed Banger Records and architect of artists like Justice and Mr. Oizo, has joined Because Music as Global Head of Creation and co-Managing Director of its French division. The appointment deepens a 20-year partnership between the two labels, uniting their creative forces to develop artists on a global scale.

Warner Chappell Music made two significant regional appointments. Soraib el Jelali joins as Head of A&R for the Benelux region, transitioning from Atlantic Records Benelux, while Julian Franzoni has been promoted to General Manager for Argentina and Uruguay after a decade of A&R work signing acts like Duki, Trueno, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso.

Youssou N'Dour has been appointed Vice-President of CISAC, the global creators' rights body, joining a leadership team that includes ABBA co-founder Björn Ulvaeus as the organization marks its centenary and steps up its advocacy in the AI era.

• BMI promoted John Ellwood to VP, Creative, alongside three Assistant VP appointments: Deirdre Chadwick (Classical & Jazz), Jeff Gilligan (Creative Director), and Jodie Thomas (Corporate & Media Relations).

• Girlilla Marketing elevated Lindsey Feinstein and Conley Sweeney to Senior Account Director and Gigi Morrison to Creative Director, and welcomed Esther Kuperus as Creative Coordinator.
