Miles Gersh Promoted to EVP, A&R at Warner Records

The exec played an instrumental role in the rise of Zach Bryan

Warner Records has promoted Miles Gersh to Executive Vice President, A&R. The Los Angeles-based exec will continue to report to Warner Records Group CEO & Co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck, and work closely with Karen Kwak, EVP & Head of A&R, and Gregg Nadel, President of A&R, Warner Records Group.

Backstory:

  • Gersh joined the label in 2019.

  • His most recent role was VP, A&R.

  • He began his career in 2018 at Doug Morris’s 12Tone Music.

Artist development:

  • Gersh introduced chart-topping country artist Zach Bryan to Bay-Schuck and Warner Records in 2020 following the success of his independent albums DeAnn and Elisabeth.

  • Bryan signed to Warner in 2021 and has since had two Number 1 albums on the Billboard 200, won a GRAMMY for the single “I Remember Everything” ft. Kacey Musgraves, and performed a record-breaking show at Michigan Stadium.

  • Gersh has also been instrumental in the development of artists such as bunii, IShowSpeed, Maddox Batson, CJ, and Detroit rapper Veeze.
