Viviana Suarez
Live Nation has hired Viviana Suarez as Vice President of Latin Touring, Live Nation Latin America.
The role:
Suarez will support the department’s touring strategy and artist booking across the LATAM region, as per Pollstar.
She will also expand live experiences and opportunities for artists in the region.
Backstory:
Suarez was previously the Booking Director with Chicago-based Latin music and sports promoter Cárdenas Marketing Network, overseeing more than 200 international shows.
She also worked at Seitrack US, directing touring and logistics for more than 150 shows annually.
Growing presence:
Suarez’s appointment emphasises Live Nation’s focus on expanding its LATAM presence.
In January it hired veteran booker Fabiano De Quieroz, who previously led Move Concerts’ regional teams across LATAM.
It also recently became a majority stakeholder in Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, and made a majority investment in Bizarro Live Entertainment’s Peruvian business.
As per Pollstar, Live Nation also signed a deal with Dale Play and Argentinian soccer team Club Atlético River Plate, through which it gained exclusive live show presentation and naming rights at Estadio Mâs Monumental in Buenos Aires.
