Leho Nigul Appointed WMG’s New Chief Technology Officer

Warner Music Group (WMG) has announced Leho Nigul as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective December 1.
The role:
Nigul will lead WMG’s technology strategy, team, and product roadmap.
He will report to CEO Robert Kyncl.
Backstory:
Nigul moves up from his role as Senior Vice President, Engineering.
He joined WMG in 2023 after tenures at Instacart and IBM, and has overseen engineering teams responsible for initiatives such as distribution, global licensing, royalty management, fan engagement and AI projects, among others.
Also announced:
Ariel Bardin is leaving WMG after three years as President of Technology.
He will remain with the company until the end of 2025 to assist with the leadership transition.
