
Jonathan Shank
Industry veteran Jonathan Shank has been appointed Senior Vice President of Global Programming at Live Nation, as per Pollstar.
The role:
Shank will focus on expanding family entertainment and non-traditional immersive live formats.
As per Pollstar his role “will entail developing and producing a variety of content types globally... from music, film, sports and more.”
He will report to Omar Al-joulani, Live Nation President, Touring.
Backstory:
Shank was most recently CEO of Terrapin Station Entertainment, which he formed in 2020 after leaving Red Light Management.
Terrapin has produced touring live productions and immersive experiences for brands such as Disney Junior, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Deal Or No Deal and Pinkfong.
He will retain Terrapin and the aforementioned projects while working at Live Nation, but has sold his interest in event producer Black Ink to Sony Masterworks.
