Jessica Koravos Appointed CEO of Music Investment Firm Pophouse

The Oak View Group exec will start in January 2026

Jessica Koravos will join Pophouse as CEO in January 2026. The Stockholm-based music investment firm was co-founded by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus, and became renowned for co-creating the ABBA Voyage avatar show.

The new role:

  • As per Pophouse’s statement, Koravos will lead “the company’s ambitious next phase of global expansion and its journey to become a world leader in music IP investment and development.”

  • The company will also focus on expanding its portfolio and productions globally, creating content at the intersection of music, entertainment and technology.

  • Current Pophouse CEO Per Sundin will remain in the role until Koravos joins in January.

Work history:

  • Koravos will stay on as President of Oak View Group (OVG) International until December.

  • Upon joining Pophouse she will remain as a non-executive Chair of OVG International.

  • Koravos’ previous roles include President of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Group, managing global licensing and production for The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

  • Koravos was also a member of the Board of ABBA Voyage.

Investment:

  • In March 2025 Pophouse announced its debut fund, Pophouse Fund I, raised more than €1bn ($1.1bn), reaching its hard cap and, it claims, becoming one of the largest first-time private equity funds to be raised in Europe in the last decade.

  • An additional €200m ($216m) was secured capital through dedicated co-investment vehicles, bringing the total fundraise to €1.2bn ($1.3bn).

  • Some of that fund has been used to secure artist partnerships with acts such as KISS, Cyndi Lauper and Swedish EDM artists Avicii and Swedish House Mafia.

  • Pophouse is currently developing the KISS avatar show.

What they said:

  • Lennart Blecher, Chair at Pophouse: “Jessica brings a proven track record of driving sustained growth across entertainment and live production ventures on a global scale, and her leadership in securing international licensing partnerships and delivering iconic IPs to audiences throughout Europe, Asia and the US aligns perfectly with our ambitious expansion goals – for example Mamma Mia! The Party and the upcoming KISS avatar show. I am truly thrilled to welcome Jessica to Pophouse.”
