Thomas Rhett has launched Fifty-One/Forty-Nine Records in partnership with HYBE's Blue Highway Records, which will release his music going forward. Rhett says the setup lets him own the body of work he has built across a career that includes 25 No. 1 singles, with Blue Highway CEO Jake Basden as his partner on the next chapter.
Puerto Rican reggaetón artist Wisin, one half of Wisin y Yandel, has signed with Richard Lom, Richard Vega & Rob Markus of WME for bookings worldwide. Managed by Chris Duque of D27 Entertainment, he joins the agency after releasing La Universidad del Perreo and making a surprise appearance during Karol G's Coachella headline set in April.
Country artist Ashley Cooke has teamed up with Steve Astephen of The Familie for management. The deal follows her self-titled sophomore album in August, which features 'the hell you are' and 'baby blues,' and she continues her 28-date 'baby blues world tour,' which runs through February.
Sonia Clavell has joined the management team of Dominican merengue group Los Hermanos Rosario, working alongside longtime manager René Solís. Clavell, who manages Ivy Queen and leads Bravas Entertainment as president, joins as the group promotes Identidad (Live) ahead of its 50th anniversary in 2028.
Austin-based management company Floating Leaf Entertainment, founded by Jeb Hurt, has joined Red Light Management, bringing a roster that includes Koe Wetzel, Kolby Cooper, and Fox N' Vead into the firm. Hurt says the partnership gives the company "an even bigger runway" without changing what Floating Leaf is.
New publisher Dovetail Songs, founded by Spencer Stewart and Maytav Koter, has announced its first signing of Ryan James Carr. Managed by Mega House, the producer & multi-instrumentalist has had cuts with acts like Baby Rose, Ravyn Lenae, Vince Staples & more.
