Francesca Bodie to Exit Position as COO of Oak View Group
Bodie will officially leave at the end of October
Francesca Bodie, Chief Operating Officer of live venue management company Oak View Group (OVG), has announced she is leaving the position. She has not provided information about future career plans.
Background:
Bodie served as COO starting in 2023.
She will remain on OVG’s board of directors.
Her father is the former CEO and Co-Founder of OVG, Tim Leiweke.
Leiweke was indicted for bid-rigging earlier this year, leading to him stepping down from his position.
Bodie was in no way implicated in Leiweke’s charges.
Bodie started at OVG over 10 years ago, working on the Climate Pledge Arena, UBS Arena, Moody Center, Acrisure Arena, CFG Bank, and TD Coliseum projects.
What they said:
Bodie: “I’m personally so proud of the projects we’ve built and how we challenged and reinvented the facility development business and generated much-needed economic impact for our communities. I consider so many of you part of my family and have so enjoyed working with you all. It has truly been an honor, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together. I’m also deeply grateful for your hard work, sacrifices, and commitment to building OVG into what it is today. I’m excited to see OVG’s continued growth in the future. There is no doubt you are unstoppable.”
