Ekonomisk Mgmt Relaunches as Team Spirit Mgmt

After 27 years as Ekonomisk Mgmt, the independent, women-owned artist management firm has unveiled a new name, Team Spirit Mgmt.

Going through changes:

• The relaunch coincides with the addition of a New York office to its Chicago operations, and the promotion of longtime manager Victoria Roe to partner.

• Roe joins founder Andrea Troolin in leading the company into its next chapter.

Backstory:

• Former A&R executive Troolin founded the management company in 1999.

• The mission was, and still is, to support “singular musicians and songwriters through thoughtful, hands-on and human-touch management rooted in independence, transparency, empathy, and creative partnership.”

Roster:

• Team Spirit’s roster includes Andrew Bird, Tift Merritt, John Splithoff, Alan Sparhawk, Low, My Brightest Diamond, Shara Nova, SUSS, and Evann McIntosh.
