Dew Process Group Has Integrated Secret Sounds Artist Management

Dew Process Managing Director Paul Piticco founded Secret Sounds Artist Management in the 90s

Dew Process, the Brisbane-based independent music company, has announced the acquisition of Secret Sounds Artist Management (SSAM). The latter firm will rebrand as Dew Process Artist Management and exist as part of the newly named Dew Process Group (DPG).

Paul Piticco:

  • Paul Piticco founded SSAM in the 90s, which eventually expanded into Secret Sounds Group (SSG).

  • SSG oversaw major Australian festivals Splendour in the Grass and Falls Music & Arts Festival. It also included touring, sponsorship, PR, domestic agency, and artist management arms.

  • In 2016, Live Nation acquired 51% of SSG.

  • Piticco also founded Dew Process as a label and publisher in 2002. As that company has expanded, he has reclaimed SSAM.

  • SSAM CFO Brian Quinn and Senior Artist Manager Rachael Dixon will lead Dew Process Artist Management alongside Piticco.

  • Piticco will remain as Director of Touring and Venue Development for Live Nation Australasia.

What they said:

  • Piticco: “[Management is] where I started. I was booking a venue before that, then the very next thing I did was manage bands. I’ve always wanted to be as close to the creativity as possible, and management was it. Short of being a producer, which I didn’t have the skill to do, that was as close as you could get. I always loved it, and it always gave me a great view of all the facets of the business.”
