UTA launched in London in 2023 after acquiring talent and literary agency Curtis Brown, the ROOF Football Agency and consultancy firm MediaLink.
Strom joined UTA in 2019 and was previously the Head of the Culture & Commerce division.
He will relocate from Los Angeles to London for his new role.
UTA says his responsibilities will include strengthening “integration and connectivity across UTA’s European operations, unlocking new business opportunities, and driving growth throughout the region.”
He will work closely with UTA’s London teams across music, creators, brand marketing, comedy, production arts and advisory services, while collaborating with Curtis Brown and ROOF Football Agency.
Strom’s current client list includes Michaela Coel, Malala Yousafzai, Grace Wales Bonner, Jon Batiste, Industry creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, Karlie Kloss, Whitney Wolfe Herd and more.
Prior to UTA Strom was an agent at CAA, working across television, speaking, books, motion pictures, technology, podcasts, and digital.
He has a background in politics and was once the Deputy Director of Scheduling to former President Bill Clinton, before serving on President Barack Obama’s White House Entertainment Council.
Strom: “London is one of the most dynamic and creative markets in the world, and UTA has only scratched the surface of what’s possible here. I’m honored to lead our next phase of growth working with the incredible team we have in London, to build a stronger and more connected UTA across London, Europe and beyond.”
