Danny Wimmer Presents Expands With New Concerts Division

Independent music festival promoter Danny Wimmer Presents – the outfit behind events such as Aftershock, Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life – has launched a new division, DWP Concerts.

• The company says the division expands its platform beyond festivals, meeting a growing demand for support across the live music industry.

The offering:

• DWP Concerts’ services include strategic guidance across venue development, talent buying, marketing, creative, venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing, production and food and beverage.

• Existing clients include venues such as Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

• DWP Concerts has also partnered with the city of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, consulting for and booking a new 10,000-capacity amphitheater.

Leadership:

• DWP Concerts will be led by DWP General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer Chamie McCurry.

• Joining the team is Louisville-based talent buyer Billy Hardison, who will oversee talent buying and booking strategy across all DWP Concerts venue clients.

• Also in the division are Kate Webster, who leads marketing, and production and promoter reps Brandon Hinson and Eron Roy.

• Industry veteran Joe Litvag will offer strategic consultation.
