Concord Purchases Mothership Music Publishing

Concord, the large-scale independent music company, has acquired Mothership Music Publishing. The acquisition includes Mothership’s complete catalog and sees Concord assume the terms of existing deals among Mothership’s roster.

Mothership:

• The publisher owns copyrights to songs across pop, indie pop, rock, alternative, indie folk, Latin, and singer-songwriter.

• Artists include The Marías, Falling In Reverse, Architects, The Tallest Man On Earth, Andy Shauf, and Son Little.

• Mothership had a sub-publishing partnership with Concord outside the US.

• Concord will now contribute its A&R, sync, marketing, and licensing resources to the Mothership roster for all global activities.
