Cliff Fluet Appointed Inaugural Chair of Music Technology UK
The trade association supports music tech start-ups
Music Technology UK (MTUK) has appointed Cliff Fluet as its inaugural Chair, leading a newly-created Board of Directors.
Moving chairs:
Fluet is a partner at Lewis Silkin and Managing Director of Eleven Advisory.
He also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Music Minds Matter, and Vice Chair at Help Musicians.
The role:
As per Music Week, Fluet will guide MTUK’s strategic direction “as it continues its mission to position the UK as a global leader in music tech innovation.”
Fluet will serve on the Board alongside Helen Sartory, Chief Revenue Officer at Beatport; Claire Mas, CMO of Spitfire Audio; Gareth Deakin, founding partner Sonorous Global; and Matt Cartmell, Chief Executive, MTUK.

MTUK has more than 100 members and is based at the House of Music and Entertainment in Shoreditch, London.
It offers members a space to work, network and learn.
It will launch its first State of the Nation report on the UK’s music tech landscape on Thursday July 10.
