Chris Sheehan Named SESAC’s VP, International

The exec has been a long-time collaborator with the performing rights body

Performing rights organization SESAC has appointed Karousel Music Co-Founder Chris Sheehan as its Vice President, International.

The role:

  • As per Music Business Worldwide, Sheehan will build on the work of predecessor John Sweeney, a long-time representative of SESAC in the UK prior to his June 2025 passing.

Backstory:

  • London-based Karousel Music is a boutique music publisher, artist management company, and record label.

  • Through Karousel Sheehan has been a long-time collaborator with SESAC on a series of live initiatives, such as a SESAC and Karousel-affiliated showcase at Germany’s Reeperbahn Festival.

  • Across Sheehan’s 25+ year career he has worked as an artist, engineer and producer, and he currently manages UK-based artist Ruby Duff.

  • He has also held a board position with the International Association of Artists and Rightsholders.
