Chad Doerge Appointed President and Deputy CEO of Round Hill Music

Round Hill Music, the music rights management company that boasts a portfolio of more than 200,000 copyrights, has appointed Chad Doerge President and Deputy CEO.

Backstory:

• Doerge has 30 years of experience spanning institutional finance, investment research, and financial technology.

• Prior to joining Round Hill he was President and Chief Revenue Officer of Aiera, an AI-powered financial intelligence platform he co-founded and helped build.

• It followed previous stints with Deutsche Bank and Evercore ISI.

• The company says this experience “supports Round Hill’s continued growth as music copyright becomes an increasingly recognized institutional asset class.”

The role:

• Doerge will work in close partnership with Round Hill Founder and CEO Josh Gruss, and will serve on the private equity company’s executive management, investment, and valuation committees.

• He will also oversee key operational areas, including financial leadership, portfolio management, investor relations, and data analytics.

• Doerge will use his experience in AI-driven platforms to help develop tools that enhance how music rights are measured, valued and monetized.

Portfolio:

• Round Hill’s $1.1 billion portfolio of music rights includes songs by George Harrison, Elvis Presley, Bruno Mars, Chaka Khan, Morgan Wallen, Black Sabbath and more.
