After being forced to cancel most of this year’s festival due to severe weather, Bonnaroo is weighing up some major changes if its latest audience survey is any indication.
The survey:
An initial post-festival survey in June canvassed the idea of moving the festival from summer to fall, or running it every other year.
Now a second survey is digging deeper into fan preferences.
Some of the questions cover issues such as:
Reducing the four-day event to three.
Moving Bonnaroo to a different city.
Whether audiences would support a smaller capacity if it meant a rise in ticket prices to maintain line-up and experience quality.
Whether Bonnaroo should be more genre specific, with a focus on EDM, indie rock/rock or jam.
The full survey can be found here.
