Blake Duncan, Scott Hendricks Launch TAYCAN Entertainment

Industry executives Blake Duncan and Scott Hendricks have launched Nashville-based independent music publishing and A&R company, TAYCAN Entertainment.

Backstories:

• Hendricks is one of country music’s most accomplished producers and executives.

• He has produced 82 No. 1 singles and 126 Top 10 hits, helping to launch the careers of Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson and many more.

• His previous executive roles include President and CEO of Capitol Records Nashville; Executive Vice President of A&R at Warner Music Nashville; and President and CEO of Virgin Nashville.

• Duncan was previously Senior Creative Director at Combustion Music, working with artists and songwriters such as Corey Kent, Thomas Archer, Brett Tyler and more.

• Prior he held creative and A&R roles at Dreamlined Entertainment, working closely with Keith Stegall.

Structure:

• Duncan will serve as President of day-to-day operations for the company.
