Beyond Music, the prominent Asian IP investment and data management firm, has acquired the catalog of Bekuh Boom. The renowned songwriter is best known for penning popular songs for the K-pop stars BLACKPINK.
The catalog:
Boom’s catalog includes 33 songs in total.
BLACKPINK hits "Kill This Love," "DDU-DU DDU- DU," "Pretty Savage,” and "Ice Cream" were included in the sale.
Beyond Music did not share the total sum spent on the purchase.

Beyond Music recently purchased the rights to “Butter,” the multi-platinum single from another K-pop mega-group, BTS.
The firm is currently managing over 35,000 master and publishing rights for music stretching as far back as the 1990s.
