beatBread Brings on High-Level Employees from CD Baby and Spotify for Fractional Roles

The hires are intended to support beatBread’s continued growth

beatBread, the independent artist and label financing platform, has brought on three new fractional leadership roles. The employees come from CD Baby, Spotify, and Countsy to hold elevated positions at beatBread.

The hires:

  • Christine Barnum is Head of Financial Operations. Barnum was previously at CD Baby for almost 20 years, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer.

  • Michael Poole is CFO. Beyond Countsy, he worked at other global credit and capital market companies such as Community Investment Management, CircleUp, and Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

  • Jameson Toole is Board Advisor on AI and Machine Learning. He was Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Spotify, where he developed real-time recommendation systems.
