Avex Music Group Acquires Larger Stake in S10 Entertainment

Avex Music Group (Avex), the music arm of global entertainment conglomerate Avex Inc., has acquired a greater stake in the diversified music company S10 Entertainment. Avex now owns 85% of S10, and the agreement seeks to increase that to 100% over time.

Background:

• Brandon Silverstein is both the CEO of Avex and the CEO of S10.

• He will continue in both roles in addition to being a board member and equity partner in Avex.

• He will now have a greater purview over Avex’s global strategy across recorded music, publishing, live entertainment, touring, and investments.

• Avex acquired S10’s publishing catalog in March 2025, which saw Silverstein take on the role of CEO at Avex.

• Since then, Avex signed Bruno Mars for publishing and launched a $100 million publishing acquisition program.

• Financial terms of the deal were not made public.
