Armada Music Launches New London Creative Hub
The six-story base has studio and events space
Dance music company Armada Music Group (AMG) has launched a new multi-functional facility in London. The space will serve as a creative hub for local and international artists, and as a bolstered operational base to support them.
Real estate:
The 7,000 square foot space, located in Shoreditch, spans six floors and offers:
Two state of the art recording studios, which can also serve as an in-house space for writing camps.
An event space featuring L-Acoustics club-grade sound system and live streaming capabilities with a capacity of approximately 130 people.
Dedicated listening rooms for A&R sessions.
Accommodations for up to 60 full-time employees.
Growth strategy:
As per the company’s statement, the new complex is part of AMG’s growth strategy, offering specialized support to dance artists, writers and producers in the UK.
Armada plans to establish a dedicated local creative team under its publishing arm to further support its roster and bolster Armada Music Publishing’s headcount.
In addition to its publishing arm, AMG also houses Armada Music, the world’s biggest independent dance music label, and BEAT Music Fund, the first-ever dance investment fund.
Armada opened its first London office in 2017, and the UK is now the company’s second-largest streaming territory.
It has offices in Amsterdam (HQ), New York, London and Laren in the Netherlands.
What they said:
Ben Malone, General Manager of Armada Music UK: “This is a pivotal moment for Armada and a testament to the UK's vibrant dance music scene. This new hub will empower us to further champion local artists, provide them with unparalleled resources, and foster more innovation and creativity in the UK.”
