Armada Joins Forces with DJ Layton Giordani on Madminds Label
Its first release will be in September
New York DJ and producer Layton Giordani has partnered with Armada Music, the world’s biggest independent dance music label, to launch Madminds.
The partnership:
Giordani is regarded as one of the world’s most popular tastemakers from techno’s new school.
Madminds is dedicated to supporting new artists and releasing genre-defining music.
Armada has recently embarked on several other DJ label partnerships, including Dutch electronic artist Joris Voorn and UK dance act SILK.
The label will be headquartered in New York.
What they said:
Layton Giordani: “New York City is where I first discovered house and techno at 16 years old. I was entrenched in the culture very early on in my career and had the honor of watching the genre’s pioneers shape the music we now love. My first residencies were here, from Pacha NYC to Output Brooklyn, and the city undoubtedly influenced me in every way.”
