Argentina to Get New $12m Venue in Córdoba
The room will hold 4,500 people
A new $12 million venue called Domo Siglo 21 is scheduled to open in Argentina in late 2027 or early 2028.
The details:
The venue is funded by Universidad Siglo 21 and production company Universo Jiménez.
The 4,500-capacity space will sit on the university campus in Córdoba, near the city’s airport.
It replaces the larger Orfeo Superdomo, which closed in 2020 due to Covid.
The venue:
Domo Siglo 21 will have 360-degree surround sound and ultra-high-definition LED screens, 12 VIP boxes, and full accessibility.
As per Digital Music News, the promoters will gather some investment by pre-selling the VIP boxes for approximately $200,000 per year for access to all events.
They also anticipate financial support from the Argentine government and the Bank of Córdoba.
Promoters are hoping to host up to 200 international and domestic events annually.
What they said:
María Belén Mendé, Universidad Siglo 21 Foundation Vice President: “[The project is a] symbol of convergence, a place where academia meets art, where culture meets innovation, and where knowledge is transformed into experience.”
