Anjula Acharia Expands WMG Alliance, Unveils 5 Junction Management

Its first signing is ‘American Idol’ star Rhea Raj

Artist manager and entrepreneur Anjula Acharia has launched 5 Junction Management, an arm of the 5 Junction record label she established as a joint venture with Warner Music Group in April 2025.

Leadership structure:

As per Variety, Acharia has partnered on the launch with Interscope A&R veteran Jurgen Grebner.
The two previously collaborated on projects such as the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack and Lady Gaga’s move into South Asia, amongst others.
Acharia’s background is in venture capital, consumer tech, and brand partnerships, and she has managed Priyanka Chopra Jonas for almost two decades.

First signing:

Indian American pop artist Rhea Raj is the company’s first client.

Global focus:

While the 5 Junction label is focused on breaking American artists of South Asian heritage and spotlighting artists from the subcontinent for US audiences, 5 Junction Management will not be limited to South Asian artists.
