Anjula Acharia Expands WMG Alliance, Unveils 5 Junction Management

Artist manager and entrepreneur Anjula Acharia has launched 5 Junction Management, an arm of the 5 Junction record label she established as a joint venture with Warner Music Group in April 2025.

Leadership structure:

• As per Variety, Acharia has partnered on the launch with Interscope A&R veteran Jurgen Grebner.

• The two previously collaborated on projects such as the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack and Lady Gaga’s move into South Asia, amongst others.

• Acharia’s background is in venture capital, consumer tech, and brand partnerships, and she has managed Priyanka Chopra Jonas for almost two decades.

First signing:

• Indian American pop artist Rhea Raj is the company’s first client.

Global focus:

• While the 5 Junction label is focused on breaking American artists of South Asian heritage and spotlighting artists from the subcontinent for US audiences, 5 Junction Management will not be limited to South Asian artists.
