Amuse, the Stockholm-headquartered independent music distribution and services company, is expanding its Label Services division via a new partnership with Swedish independent label and management company TEN, and a new insights platform.
The new partnership:
The partnership with TEN will be led by Amuse’s Label Services division.
Amuse says it will give TEN the “infrastructure of a global partner while they keep their agility and creative control.”
The partnership covers full-service support, including frontline management for new releases and artist projects, catalog optimization, UGC management, access to physical distribution and royalty reporting.
TEN launched the careers of artists like Zara Larsson, Icona Pop and Omar Rudberg.
Greater insights:
Amuse has also built a new insights platform to bolster its Label Services.
The company says it will help labels and management teams centralize their artist projects, providing a clearer view of their catalogs, release campaigns and growth opportunities across markets, DSPs and social media.
It will also offer a market-specific “alert system” that surfaces moments teams often miss, enabling them to act faster on data.
A beta version opens this month to selected partners, an invite-only version follows in late Q3, with a fuller release landing in Q4.
What they said:
Giorgio D’Ambrosio, CEO of Amuse: “Independent labels are operating with more ambition, speed and complexity than ever. They need a partner that combines distribution, hands-on services and meaningful data without friction – and one whose own independence isn’t up for negotiation. We’ve spent years building that around artists, and we’re now extending it to the labels and managers.”
