AI-Powered Music Production Platform LANDR Acquires Reason Studios
The companies will establish an Artist Council to guide Reason’s evolution
AI-powered music production tool LANDR has acquired Reason Studios, the Stockholm-based company behind the Reason Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and Reason Rack.
The details:
Reason Studios will continue to operate as its own brand, maintaining its products, community and creative DNA.
Alongside its subsidiary Synchro Arts – creators of VocAlign and Revoice Pro – Montreal-based LANDR will gradually introduce “deeper integrations, enhanced collaboration tools, and creator-focused, AI-powered features.”
The companies will align teams across the Montreal and Stockholm offices as they work to “accelerate innovation and support the next chapter of Reason’s evolution.”
Artist Council:
The companies are establishing an Artist Council made up of well-known producers and users of Reason to guide the platform’s evolution, while ensuring it remains connected to real-world creator needs.
What they said:
Pascal Pilon, CEO of LANDR: “This isn’t about changing Reason, it’s about giving it room to grow. We’re preserving each brand’s identity and core market while unlocking new possibilities for creators everywhere.”
