AEG Announces New UK Festival, Roundhay Festival

Event giant AEG Presents (AEG) has announced the launch of a new major UK festival, Roundhay Festival. The event will be held at Roundhay Park in Leeds starting next summer.

Roundhay Festival:

• The venue, Roundhay Park, has hosted major concerts in the past with headliners including Madonna, the Rolling Stones, and Ed Sheeran.

• The proposed model is similar to London’s BST Hyde Park, another AEG Presents event.

• BST Hyde Park hosts several concerts of major headliners for three consecutive weekends in central London’s Hyde Park alongside free midweek programming.

• The first headliner for Roundhay Festival will be announced “very soon.” AEG has confirmed there will be free midweek programming during the event as well.
