AEG Announces New UK Festival, Roundhay Festival
The debut edition is scheduled to take place in the summer of 2026
Event giant AEG Presents (AEG) has announced the launch of a new major UK festival, Roundhay Festival. The event will be held at Roundhay Park in Leeds starting next summer.
Roundhay Festival:
The venue, Roundhay Park, has hosted major concerts in the past with headliners including Madonna, the Rolling Stones, and Ed Sheeran.
The proposed model is similar to London’s BST Hyde Park, another AEG Presents event.
BST Hyde Park hosts several concerts of major headliners for three consecutive weekends in central London’s Hyde Park alongside free midweek programming.
The first headliner for Roundhay Festival will be announced “very soon.” AEG has confirmed there will be free midweek programming during the event as well.
What they said:
Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals: “Everyone at AEG is thrilled to announce the launch of the Roundhay Festival in Leeds. This landmark event gives us the opportunity to bring world-class artists and world-leading production to even more fans, while building on the park’s incredible musical legacy.”
