Universal Music Group Greater China Names Two New Top Executives
Cora Lam will serve as Head of Legal and Business Affairs, and Mark Gao comes on as SVP of Brand Partnerships
Universal Music Group (UMG) is continuing to grow its Chinese arm, Universal Music Group Greater China (UMGC), with two recent hirings. Cora Lam will join in the newly created role of Head of Legal and Business Affairs, and Mark Gao has been named Senior Vice President of Brand Partnerships.
Cora Lam:
Lam previously served as General Counsel and SVP of Legal and Business Affairs for Warner Music Asia.
Lam’s new position at UMGC was created following the departure of Patsy Chan, who was UMG’s Senior Vice President and Head of Legal and Business Affairs for Asia.
Mark Gao:
In his new role, Gao will concentrate on creating partnerships between UMGC’s roster and the world of sports, lifestyle, and culture.
Before UMGC, Gao was Founder and CEO of Momentum Sports
He was also President of CAA Sports China and Vice President at NBA China.
