Mark Ronson Partners With Pulse Music Group for Publishing Venture

Independent music publisher Pulse Music Group has partnered with superproducer Mark Ronson’s publishing company, Zelig Music, on a new co-venture.

The partnership:

• Pulse and Zelig recently signed soulful indie artist Becky And The Birds, the artist moniker of Thea Gustafsson, to a global publishing deal.

• Gustafsson has received the Producer Of The Year award from the Swedish Grammis.

Background:

• Zelig Music is the publishing arm of Ronson’s Zelig Records, which is a co-venture with Sony Music.

• The label has signed King Princess, Eli, Tiberius b, Raissa, and Issy Wood.
