Lost Highway Announces New Hires
Casey Thomas and Vincent Masino take up new positions
Nashville-headquartered record company Lost Highway has announced Casey Thomas as Vice President of Marketing, and Vincent Masino as Manager, Audience Development and Content Strategy.
The new hires:
Thomas’ prior role was VP of Marketing and Commercial Partnerships with Monument Records, where she spent seven years.
She previously worked in the development department of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Masino joins Lost Highway from Universal Music Group Nashville, where he spent two years as a digital content specialist.
He began his career freelancing for labels and in artist management.
Thomas and Masino will be based in Lost Highway’s Nashville offices.
The return of Lost Highway:
Lost Highway was founded in 2000 and absorbed into Mercury Nashville in 2012 following the retirement of founder Luke Lewis.
It was reactivated earlier this year, led by Robert Knotts (formerly Senior VP, Artist and Label Services at Thirty Tigers) and Jake Gear (previously VP A&R at UMG Nashville).
It resides under the Interscope Geffen A&M umbrella.
What they said:
Robert Knotts, Co-Head of Lost Highway: “Casey has built a reputation in Nashville as an innovative music marketer with a deep understanding of artistic vision and how to effectively bring that vision to life. Similarly, Vinny has a unique skillset in connecting an artist’s vision with a receptive audience across an ever-changing digital landscape. Together they will play an integral role in serving Lost Highway’s longstanding vision as a springboard for music’s most important and culture defining artists.”
