Dave Ayers has been named Executive Vice President, A&R, at Peermusic.
The role:
Ayers will oversee the signing and development of talent, and shape the creative strategy across Peermusic’s roster of artists, songwriters and producers.
He will report to Jamie Cerreta, President US and Canada.
Backstory:
Ayers has worked across management, publishing and label A&R over the past four decades.
He’s previously worked at Twin/Tone, Capitol Records, Chrysalis and Big Deal Music Publishing, which he co-founded with Cerreta and others.
Following the 2020 sale of Big Deal he served as Executive Vice President at Hipgnosis Songs.
Previous signings and collaborations include Bon Iver, Ween, St. Vincent, TV on the Radio, Kamasi Washington, The Black Keys, and more.
