The New Bosses
Clio Massey was previously the General Manager of Arista's Work of Art Publishing and Vice President of A&R at the label. She will continue to oversee Work of Art in her new role.
Matt D'Arduini was previously Arista's Executive Vice President of A&R. The duo will be based in New York and report to Sony Music Group chairman Rob Stringer.
History
Arista was founded by Clive Davis in 1974, and was home to artists such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Lou Reed. It closed in 2011, before being revived in 2018 under David Massey. Arista's roster now includes Måneskin, Rudimental and Lola Brooke.
What They Said
Rob Stringer: "Clio and Matt are dynamic and forward-thinking executives who are best placed to build on the artist development they have been involved with in the first phase of the new Arista.
